The donut craze doesn't seem to be subsiding any time soon!
Jux the other day, i found out that we can now order Dunkin' Donuts (previously not available in Singapore) from this webbie and collect them from several MRT stations across the island!
This is definitely great news! They have much more variety than Vinco and Donut Factory, hopefully they will also be better taste-wise!
Will be ordering from them soon; watch this space!
Update: They have now decided to only deliver to City Hall MRT station on sundays~ Last deliveries to several MRT stations across the island will be on 6th June!
In other donut news, i spotted this new donut stall (halfway renovated) in Bukit Panjang Plaza!
Can't wait to see whether they're good!
One last news; Donut Factory's opening a new outlet in Suntec! Either the queues can finally be dispersed or it can also result in more people queuing up! I hope this expansion wun cause their standard to deteriorate!
Bestie's 21st birthday's in June, but we held an early celebration for her! I didn't want to jux buy a cake for her, so Mummy and i got to baking these cuppies for her!
Butter cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting and topped with rainbow sprinkles~ Really basic/minimal decoration coz we're really jux amateurs at baking!
Now we're all set! ^_^
Celebration's at our favourite hangout of coz! KBox! Wahaha~
All of us had the Crispy Fish set~ Not too bad! We all had great fun that day! ^_^
I was feeling rather down today and needed to be alone to catch a breather. Sometimes, solitariness can have therapeutic effects~
Armed with 2 homemade chocolate (needed the endorphins!) cupcakes as my lunch, i went out; deciding to jux go wherever my mood took me~
I ended up at clarke quay. Dun ask me why!
Bought a drink and sat down by singapore river; directly opposite the G-Max Bungy. Im so lucky it's a breezy day; considering the weather of late!
People-watched and snapped loads of pointless pictures as i munched on my cupcakes~
The steep steps beneath~
Undisturbed waters...
...before boats full of tourists come by every so often~
The tourists would wave enthusiastically at us and it brought a smile to my face as i waved back~
Around me~
I witnessed 6 G-Max Bungy rides during the time i was there (yeh i was so free i counted)~ The screams and whoops as they were being flung up at great speed and height made me smile subconsciously~
Am nursing a cough~ =( But Baby dropped by after work and that cheered me up a bit! ^_^
He bought these for me:
Herbal tea, cough syrup and cough drops! 我是幸福的! ^_^
Baby discovered that my arms and forehead felt hot and ordered me to take my temperature...~ 39°C! O_o" No wonder i felt so dizzy and my bones aching! So stupid, me!
Of coz i had to try out the legendary Chocolixir drink from Godiva!
Chocolate ice blended drink loaded with lots of chocolate bits and topped with sinful whipped cream and chocolate fudge! I dun think i need to say much here; jux try it!
Mummy wanted to have the sushi buffet at Suki Sushi and her wish is our command! ^_^
Mummy had this little portable radio which she listened to everyday when she's doing household chores or cooking. The radio's been spoilt for quite some time and in bad working condition~
After searching high and low for the perfect portable radio, i finally came across this precious in Action City!
Not forgetting the flowers of coz! No clichéd carnations for us! Got these beautiful roses for Mummy instead!
Despite frequenting Taka's food village, we would usually just walk past this particular stall without taking any notice. They're actually Beard Papa's neighbour and enjoys quite a healthy customer traffic~ Seats are limited though so definitely not a place to chill and chat!
The curry cutlet set ($8) consists of the main dish and a bottled drink. Beneath the beautifully scrambled eggs (Yum! ^_^) was soft fluffy rice cooked in a tomato-based sauce and the fried pork cutlet was crispy and tender~ The curry sauce was thick and mildly spicy but a tad salty~
This is simply called Set Meal A ($7.50) and u can choose ur own bottled drink too. Very generous portions! Fluffy rice cooked in a tomato-based sauce together with chicken cubes were wrapped in a thin layer of omelette before drowning the whole thing in the tomato-based sauce again! A tad overwhelming if u ask me!
Love the (soft) onion slices though! The meat patties on top was good but had a taste which made us got sick of it easily! The macaroni was served cold and sour; thus it acted as some sort of an appetiser. Next to the macaroni was fried scallops if im not wrong. Not too bad! The fried chicken pieces were crispy, tender and moist but somehow lacking in taste.
We got rather sick of this dish a little more than halfway through coz there's tomato overload!
